Our visit last year was a great success so we are planning to return on the first weekend of April. It will be just two nights away, stay Reims (very nice city!). This is a large indoor fair at the expo centre, over 500 stands. More upmarket than the other events, an excellent opportunity to see some high class antiques & collectables. Depart on Friday stay Ibis (centre ville). We begin our weekend with a champagne reception on Fri evening. Visit event 8am Saturday, optional cathedral, champagne visits, free time for shopping & Sunday flea market on return journey. - Amiens

1 night away BOOK EARLY This is our favourite safari, an excellent event staged in the lovely town centre with over 1500 pitches. Map of city/event and list of restaurants provided.

1 night away. This event had been recommended many times while doing research among stallholders at other events and how right they were! With well over 1000 pitches with a large variety of antiques, dealers and collectors are sure to return home happy! We will stay Ibis Hotel near the town centre. In 2008 we will depart later from the event as it is Bank holiday weekend in UK. - La Braderie at LILLE - £174

2 nights away 16th year, metro station near hotel. This is the largest flea market in Europe with over 10.000 pitches. After visiting for many years our regulars know the best streets to visit. La Braderie officially begins on Saturday, midday. Our 2 star hotel is family owned, with bar & restaurant (only 60 yards from metro station) A free ticket is provided for your first journey and it is only a 15/20 minutes ride to the centre on the efficient service. Once we arrive in Lille you are free until Sunday afternoon. A metro map along with an official plan of the event will be available, also advice as to the best areas to find bargains.
