Feel Assured - about us
If you are nervous about your first tour to buy antiques abroad, then don't worry. James travels on all his tours and he will be delighted to offer advice along with all his friendly experts on the coach. You will find that over 60% of our clients will have traveled with us on other safaris.
The good news is that we will continue our popular safari tours this year and you are all most welcome to join us. We only attend events with well over 1000 pitches and always allow ample time for browsing and buying. For example we visit Paris when there are big brocante events, not just for the flea markets as they tend to be touristy and expensive. In Amiens and Lille our hotel is nearby the event so you do not have a coach to meet or the hassle of clock watching! We use good 2 star chain hotels (Ibis, Campanile etc) and top quality coaches. Our antiques safari tours are even better value this year especially as the car ferry fares have increased so much! Our promise to you is that you will experience a well coordinated safari, personal contact with the organiser whose experience and attention to the smaller points will ensure that you will return in the future!
Kent Departures.
We know some of you live quite a long way from Kent etc, but I promise
that once we leave from our departure point (10 mins from M20 with
private parking!) we will be in Dover within 60 minutes. We have regular
customers who drive from Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford, Brighton,
and Bristol (even Belfast & Glasgow!) who are quite happy to do
the journey.
The other advantage is that we have private parking (at your own risk) and nearby you have a choice of many places, if you wish to have an overnight stay. List supplied on request.
Why Travel with James Edwards?
James has been arranging special interest tours for over 30 years.
Originally a farm boy, from near Brecon. After college he worked for
Fisons & M&B for 10 years, but it was while working at an
agricultural college in Kent as study tour organiser and Director
of European Liaison that his love of travel blossomed and he made
many contacts and gained valuable experience in the operation of tours
on the Continent.
James was the first to take groups from UK to the huge Paris event, Amiens, the mystery safari events and the La Braderie at Lille! Clients for his farm and garden tours have included RHS, Kent Agric Society, NADFAS, WI, grassland clubs and local horticultural societies. You will appreciate his enthusiasm and love of antiques plus his personal contact from inquiry, to booking, and while on tour. Not the largest tour operator but the best!
